Home Assistant Personal Control is a private application operated solely for personal use.
Information Accessed
The application uses Google OAuth to authenticate with Google services. It may receive authentication credentials, authorization tokens, and information necessary to perform Google Assistant commands.
How Information Is Used
Google user data is used only to:
- Authenticate my personal Google account.
- Maintain the connection between Home Assistant and Google services.
- Send smart-home commands initiated by my Home Assistant installation.
Google user data is not used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or marketing.
Data Sharing
Google user data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
Data Storage
OAuth credentials and authorization tokens may be stored on my private Home Assistant installation for the purpose of maintaining authenticated access to Google services.
Data Retention and Deletion
Authentication information is retained only while the integration is in use.
Access can be revoked through Google Account permissions. Credentials and stored authentication data can also be removed by deleting the integration from Home Assistant.
